User interface is much friendlier and intuitive compared to the previous app. Many issues I had with the previous version have been addressed with this app. It’s worth taking the time to update the details of your vehicle, especially if you have more than one KARR system. You can name the vehicle so you don’t need to guess which VIN is the vehicle you’re trying to access. A new helpful feature is you can save your license plate number, insurance info, and any additional coverages you have on your vehicle to this app – can save a lot of time if calling the police to report a stolen vehicle, all the info they will ask for will be in the same app used to track it’s location.

So far the only improvement I would like to see to this app is if you can have multiple geofences active at the same time so you don’t need to go in the app every time you go between home and work to update which geofence you want active.

Visually the new app is a lot more appealing. There are a lot of new features, my favorite of which is the addition of push notifications for alerts. The old app would text from different numbers each time so I’d have a lot of different text conversations filling my inbox.

I like that I don’t have to scan for my car anymore, so I can just hop right into doing what I need to do.

The alert setups are a big improvement as well. I remember I had to set up emails / texts for each type of alert individually in the other app. Here they’re all done at once with a couple toggle switches.

And best of all (I think) is that all my settings transferred over, so I didn’t have to do a lot of double work in getting reset.

If I find any negatives about it, I’ll update my review, but so far I’m kinda loving it.
